The mysterious Mermaid with sea creatures dancing around engraved on Don Angelo’s mysterious vault of wonders is finally here. It is amazing to think this illustration was born back then in 2021, when I wrote my first short story “The Tiny Paper Man”.

It appeared again on the final and main illustration for that story, though it is so small only the silohuette can be seen, there on the vault, over the chair:
Until in 2022, I made the first sketch which I have temporary lost (I still suspect it is in one of my previous sketch books).
