Here’s a remake of an older original character I made back in 2022. I always felt a bit unsatisfied with the result of the original piece, so here’s a new version and some explorations on how I came up to it.

Here’s a remake of a funny t-shirt design I made originally in 2012. A co-worker was leaving for the U.S. branch where I worked back then, and this was more like an internal joke between him and his pals. They asked me to do the illustration, and this was the result:
Broom Speeder Remake
This is a remake of a drawing from 2019, made for that year’s Inktober challenge. Over time, I noticed how disappointed I was with the result, considering how I saw the original idea. So, this was the perfect candidate to have its full remake, and now, here it is. Click below to check on the original 2019 drawing.

This is an illustration I’d been running away from for a long time. I usually don’t draw sceneries and landscapes, but I have to admit I really enjoyed this one. Here, Aurelio briefly reveals to Stella where that thing escaped in my short story “The Ishume Day”.
You can read it online via WATTPAD in English and Spanish versions.
You can also download both on your mobile device via GUMROAD.
Check the process of creating the illustration below.

A remake of a drawing I made in 2020 for the Inktober of that year (check at the bottom of this post). The original prompt word was “BULKY,” and looking at it again, I couldn’t help but remake it. This version captures more of what I originally intended to do, with the dirt surface and plant leaves surrounding them. I love making new versions of my old pieces.

Purple was the color the lady chose to wear that evening. She needed to maximize her theatrical impression, considering such a customer had decided to pay her a visit at last.
She looked at herself in the mirror and thought she’d never been so pretty and young.
– And now, for the show. Which one should we use? – She asked, opening a wooden vault where four beautiful crystal balls lay.

Was it yesterday? Or the day before? I could not know when I started feeling it, a “pulse” from within myself, from my center. I just knew what it meant: I needed to set her free.

As a kid, I only heard stories about this place; now, I am here. I have left my hometown, crossed the sea, and came to the land I’d dreamt to see, but to do something terrible, not only to these people but to myself.
We managed to unlock the temple doors without trouble, which was very unexpected given the resistance we had faced until then. I was in the front group, so as the tall doors opened, I was among the first to look inside.
