Dear Journal, you won’t believe what happened under the old bakery today. This girl is Sally, an original character I made up to star in an original short story I wrote for my daughter. This scene would be perfect for book 2.
Here’s the first thumbnail sketch. As it can be seen, the main composition remain almost the same.
This is the working sketch, where I added a few more things and decided all the treats would be cupcakes.
Just a few more tools were added to the table, but the inking proved to be more challenging than I had anticipated.
