Inktober 2024 – “BOOTS”

This was a fun one, the process below:

Here’s the first exploration sketch. As it can be seen, my original idea was that the cat was going to interact with a sales representative. But then, I realized that in this sketch, we could not see the face of the puss in boots, which was the main character of the illustration.

I then decided to change his position and, at the same time, made him do something more than just decide about the boots. So here’s where the final pose was defined. I still tried to add the sales representative, but the truth was that it wasn’t really adding anything to the story-telling of the scene.
